A little sewing goin' on

Image
Wow, finally got to sit down at the machine this morning and work on a quilt that has a deadline. I need to have this completed by Nov. 9, and I knew I had to get busy to have it done in time! The Novi Sewing Expo is fast approaching, too. Friday I'll be going with my quilting friends, about 6 or 7 of us, and we'll be having our parking lot tailgate for the 3rd year in a row. Then on Saturday I have 3 garment sewing classes scheduled, 2 of them with Patti Palmer, and I'm really excited for that. My niece's wedding shower is on Sunday....and there is another weekend gone!!...

The American Cancer Society:

In October, my husband and I will be joining our two daughters in the Making Strides cancer walk in Chicago, IL. My girls have been walking for a couple of years now, and we are looking forward to joining them in memory of my mother-in-law Martha Pozolo, who passed away at the young age of 59. If you are even a little bit interested in supporting this worthwhile cause, please click the link below and take a look at my personal page: The American Cancer Society: Shared via AddThis
