Simplicity 8346 & Butterick 5625: Sewing for the Grands:

                                                          Go Cubs, Go!

For the littlest Cubs fans in the family,  I was happy to sew
                                             Simplicity 8346 and  Butterick 5625:
(of course, as a long-suffering Detroit Tigers fan, this Grandma
wishes it was Tigers fabric she got to use!)

This romper from Butterick 5625 for my Grandson is a little too big, but this picture was taken this summer during a hot July family camping trip, and the romper was a nice, cool outfit for him:

Cousins should wear matching clothes, right? So my Granddaughter is wearing a sundress
                                    and panties from Simplicity 8346:

The bias binding for the neck and armhole is actually a vintage knit bias binding, nice and soft.

                                                                              Silly!
